of their everyday, morning preparation, plus
brief insights into how Lily & her family first opened
and maintained  Ocean City Buffet eighteen years
prior to the shooting of this film.

the course of one main dinner, during the same week
of pop-singer Whitney Houston's untimely passing,
Ocean City Buffet  sparked the filmmakers'
docufictional query into the buffet
as a quintessentially American food culture
