MATERNAL (FUTURES)

... shines a light on the intersection of breastfeeding,

the notion of “mother nature” and the evolution

of “nature” in the age of climate change,

artificial intelligence & beyond. 

 

In collaboration with Paola Carrero Phillips,

Maternal ( Futures ) was purposely shot during

wintertime in Long Island, in order to use the cold,

light snow backdrop to highlight the juxtaposition between the warmth of motherly care

& the blistering harshness of winter -

a symbol for a world / planet which benefits

more from lower carbon emissions

by a decreased human population.
